PLACEMENT SERVICES COORDINATOR

JOB PURPOSE:
Under the general supervision of the Community Service Director and within the limits of the
policies and procedures of the National Youth Service, the Placement Services Coordinator will:
 Effectively and efficiently source, coordinate, implement and administer all activities
and processes relating to the efficient placement of participants island wide.
 Process and prepare all information relating to timely and accurate payment of
participants’ stipend and relevant adjustments.
 Effectively facilitate, expand and maintain close collaborations and relationships
between potential partners, private and public agencies in support of the NYS.
 Offer innovative solutions to operational placement problems with an understanding
and awareness of the different priorities for the creation of an accurate, current and
efficient placement and stipend database system for all present and emerging
programmes.
 Effectively contribute to the overall development, productivity, strategic planning,
financial and marketing management of the NYS.
